Coolingmist Methanol Injection Kit – Stage 1
£316.63
The Stage 1 kit includes a boost-activated switch adjustable between 3 and 30 psi and comes with a solenoid for easy direct port or post-throttle body injection. It also includes an injector matched to your engine’s horsepower and works with all turbocharged or supercharged vehicles.
To test, disconnect the nozzle but keep it attached, ensure the tank has water, and turn the key to “on.” Move the wire from Pin 1 to Pin 2 on the boost switch to activate. If it doesn’t work, check the wiring and return the wire to Pin 1.

Water/Methanol Injection is an ideal solution for forced induction projects, significantly lowering intake air temperatures while boosting fuel octane levels. This allows for safer tuning at higher boost pressures and more aggressive ignition timing, all without the expense of using race fuels.
Lowers Air Inlet Temperatures Water/methanol injection, often referred to as "liquid intercooling," works by injecting a finely atomized mist of water and methanol into the air stream. As the mist evaporates, it can reduce air charge temperatures by up to 100 degrees, resulting in a cooler, denser, and more oxygen-rich air intake.
Reduces Detonation (Knock) Water absorbs six times more heat than fuel, while methanol is a cool-burning fuel with anti-knock properties. When injected together into the intake stream, they effectively raise the vehicle’s anti-knock index, allowing you to safely increase boost pressure and advance ignition timing using standard pump fuel.
Minimizes Carbon Deposits Vehicles equipped with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems often experience significant carbon buildup in the intake, leading to 'hot spots' in the combustion chamber, which can cause detonation. Water/methanol injection acts like a steam cleaner, reducing carbon deposits and, in some cases, improving fuel efficiency.
